You choose a backup passphrase. It's the only key that can unlock your files — we never receive it, and there's no way for us to reset it for you.

We store the encrypted result. If we can't unlock it, no one else can either — not us, not anyone who might ever get access to our servers.
Never lose a version
Every change is kept, not just the latest one. Recover an old version of any file, or use Time Machine to see your entire backup exactly as it looked on any past date.

Install the native Mac app for backups that happen quietly in the background, or open the web app from any device — phone included — to browse, upload, and download.
Find things, download folders
Search across your whole backup, sort by name or date or size, and grab an entire folder as a single ZIP when you need it back.
